This week Pastor Dave explores the first real conflict the early church faced after the "honeymoon" period. He examines the Apostles' response to the disparate treatment of the widows in the community; this was a cultural division between Hellenistic Jews and Hebraic Jews. He reflects on the idea that the apostles selected Hellenistic Jews to be deacons or helpers. Pastor Dave then explores how this applies to us as the modern church.
