Neighbors in Need (NIN) is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. One-third of NIN funds supports the Council for American Indian Ministry(CAIM). Two-thirds of the offering is used by the UCC's Justice and Witness Ministries(JWM) to support a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects through grants. Neighbors in Need grants are awarded to churches and organizations doing justice work in their communities. These grants fund projects whose work ranges from direct services to community organizing and advocacy to address systemic injustice. Funding is provided through donations to the Neighbors In Need offering.

Thank you for remembering these families.
THANKSGIVING FOOD COLLECTION
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 12TH, 2017
Our annual collecting of nonperishable food and grocery gift cards will occur on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
The outreach committee will then supplement those donations with funds from our budget line item to provide Thanksgiving meals for needy families in the South Bay. Our collective gifts will support the efforts of Love INC, Harbor Interfaith Service (HIS) and Toberman Neighborhood Center.
